AI Voice For Dentist software Dentrix

We are building an AI Voice Receptionist for Dental Practices that integrates deeply with Dentrix Practice Management Software. The goal is to answer inbound calls 24/7, schedule appointments, confirm patients, handle basic insurance questions, and sync data directly with Dentrix—reducing front-desk workload and missed calls. We are looking for an experienced developer or solution architect who has worked with Dentrix, dental workflows, and AI voice/telephony systems. This is not a basic IVR project. We want natural, human-like AI conversations designed specifically for dental offices. Scope of Work 1️⃣ AI Voice Agent for Dental Clinics Design and implement an AI Voice Agent that can: Answer inbound calls 24/7 Identify new vs existing patients Book, reschedule, or cancel appointments Answer common dental FAQs (hours, services, location, insurance) Route urgent calls appropriately Capture patient demographics and intent 2️⃣ Dentrix Integration Integrate AI Voice Agent with Dentrix to: Read appointment availability Create/update appointments Pull patient records (where allowed) Log call notes and outcomes Experience with: Dentrix APIs, database access, or approved integration methods Dental PMS workflows (check-in, recall, hygiene schedules, etc.) 3️⃣ Telephony & AI Stack Experience with one or more: AI Voice platforms (Vapi, Retell, Twilio Voice, Amazon Connect, Google Dialogflow CX, etc.) Speech-to-Text & Text-to-Speech (Google, Azure, AWS, OpenAI, etc.) Ability to design: Natural conversation flows Call fallback and escalation logic Error handling for real-world dental calls
